Bio:
I'm Charlotte—mother, grandmother, survivor, and writer. I've written 13 children's books, including a Silver Moonbeam Award winner, but it's my novel, The Forgotten Many that I had to write: a story about the lives domestic violence leaves behind, drawn from a world I know firsthand. When I'm not writing, I'm advocating for survivors, mentoring emerging writers, and hosting writing groups where people find their voice for the first time. I've seen words change lives. I believe they can change the world.
